Why this farm, why this harvest

We started Loma Café Co. selling bags out of a folding table at weekend markets. What changed everything wasn't a better bag design — it was posting a photo of the farm the coffee actually came from. People wanted to know: whose hands picked this, how high up, how was it processed. So now every batch we sell gets the same treatment: we name the farm, we name the process, and we roast only as much as we can sell fresh.

Hand-picked at peak ripeness

This lot comes from a small family-run farm on the Loma Alta ridge, a plot we've bought from directly for the past two seasons. The cherries were hand-picked at peak ripeness and washed-processed on-site, which is part of why this batch drinks so clean and bright. When this lot sells out, it's genuinely gone — the next batch will come from a different harvest, and we'll tell that story too.

"We don't roast a warehouse of coffee and hope it sells. We roast what we've already sold." — Loma Café Co., roaster's note (illustrative brand voice)

What's in the cup

Ripe stone fruit, brown sugar, a light floral finish. Balanced acidity, medium body, clean and syrupy on the way down.

  • Pour-over: brings out the floral top notes — our first recommendation for this lot
  • Batch brew / drip: rounds out the sweetness, great for everyday drinking
  • Espresso: works, but this lot really shines filtered — try pour-over first if you can

Honestly — this will sell out

We're not manufacturing urgency here: this lot really is 140 bags, and our last four limited batches sold out in under a week. We roast to order in small runs because we'd rather sell out than sell stale coffee. If this batch is gone by the time you read this, we mean it — there's no "restock" on a specific harvest.

"I've bought coffee online for years and this is the first bag that actually told me who grew it. Tasted like it too."

"Missed the last batch by a day. Signed up for the notify list this time — not making that mistake twice."

Frequently asked questions

Is this coffee already roasted, or do you roast after I order?

We roast to order — your bag is roasted within 48 hours of your purchase and shipped shortly after, so you're never buying coffee that's been sitting on a shelf.

Is this a subscription?

No. This is a one-time purchase of a single limited batch. We don't auto-enroll anyone into recurring charges. If you want to know about future batches, use the "Notify Me" option instead.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 2-4 business days of roasting. Delivery time after that depends on your location.

What if the batch sells out while I'm checking out?

If stock hits zero, the "Add to Cart" button will show as sold out — we don't oversell a lot past its actual bag count.

Do you offer returns?

Because this is roasted-to-order fresh food, we don't accept returns on opened bags, but reach out if something's wrong with your order and we'll make it right.
